Kefalonia Island International Airport is quite small and has one terminal to serve both incoming and outgoing flights.

The national airline, Olympic Airways, operates regular flights from Kefalonia to Athens, a 45-minute flight.

Kefalonia Airport's terminal has three check-in desks and two baggage claim belts. Since the airport is small, its passenger services are limited. However, there is a post office, first aid department, tourist help desk and disabled access and facilities.

Even though the airport is small, there are still places to shop. Duty-free shopping, a gift shop and a newsagent / tobacconist are all on hand. There are also several cafeterias and bars as well as a VIP lounge.
